Androgen

A general term for male sex hormones secreted mainly by the testes but also the adrenal cortex and the ovaries. The main androgens are testosterone aldosterone, and androsterone.

Androgyne: A person who shows a mixture or merging of traditionally masculine and feminine characteristics, psychologically and/or behaviorally.

Androgynophilia: The erotosexual bonding of a man or woman simultaneously or sequentially with a member of both sexes.

Androphilia: Love of a male. Erotosexual pairing and limerence of a woman with a man or of a man with a man.

Androphobia: An intense pathological fear of men.

Antiandrogen: A hormone or hormone analog or substitute that acts competitively to replace androgen within the nuclei of target cells.
