Erotophobia
Feelings of guilt and fear associated with one's sexual nature and responses.
Age Avoidance: A culturally conditioned constraint on self-disclosure to persons in a different age cohort than one's own age group. This taboo affects erotosexual behavior and communications.
Allosex avoidance: A socially dictated or culturally conditioned restraint that limits self-disclosure to members of the other sex but not to members of one's own sex. Nudity in gym showers and lockerrooms and gender-based limits on the use of street language, sexual slang, and sexual jokes are examples of alllosex avoidance.
Erotophilia: Feeling comfortable with and positive about one's sexual nature and responses.
Intimacy Avoidance: A socaially dictated constraint or reduction in what one discloses about oneself to specific individuals or groups; a prohibition on discussion of specific topics. Intimacy avoidance may negatively affect interpersonal communications and sexual behavior.
