Jealousy

A painful emotion compounded of hostility or resentment against a rival, especially when the rival possesses enviable beauty, wealth, status, or sex appeal.

Alcoholic jealousy: A form of jealousy experienced by chronic alcoholics. Typically, the jealousy is directed to a rival, and is usually accompanied by suspicion of infidelity towards the loved one.

Delusional jealousy: A paranoid type of jealousy marked by the false conviction that the loved one is unfaithful - resulting in constant suspicion, and close monitoring of the loved one's activities in order to find evidence of infidelity, and even manufacture it when cannot find one.

Projected jealousy: The tendency of a person who has been unfaithful to his/her loved one to accuse him/her of the same behavior.
