Oral Sex

A general term for any use of the tongue, lips, or mouth to stimulate sexually a partner's erogenous zones and genitals by licking, sucking, biting, and/or kissing. Also known as: oralgenitalism or oral-genital sex.

Fellatio: Sexual stimulation of the penis with the mouth, lips and tongue. Comes from the Latin word fellare, to suck. Also known as fellation.

Autofellatio: A man's use of his mouth or tongue to bring himself to orgasm by sucking or licking his penis.

Cunnilingus:Sexual stimulation of the external female genitalia (vulva, clitoris) with the tongue or mouth. Comes from the Latin words cunnus, meaning culva; and lingere, meaning lick. Also known as: cunnilingham.

Cunnilinguist: A person who performs cunnilingus.

Oral eroticism: A psychoanalytic term for the satisfaction of libido in any pleasurable activity involving the mouth, lips, and tongue, especially sucking, eating, smoking, kissing, biting, suckling at the breast, thumb sucking, fellatio, and cunnilingus.

Oral fixation: A psychoanalytic term for fixation on or regression to the satisfaction of libido in pleasurable activities involving the mouth, lips, and tongue.

Oral sadism: A psychoanalytic term for an occasional or regular regression to the second phase of the oral stage, experienced by an adult who uses the mouth, lips, and teeth as means of sadistic sexual pleasure and to express aggression and hostility.
