Call boy: A male homosexual prostitute who works by telephone appointment only, catering to more affluent clients, unlike the male prostitutes who work streets and bars.

Call girl: A female prostitute who works by telephone appointment only, catering to more affluent clients, business executives, and professional and business men, unlike prostitutes who work the streets, bars, and massage parlors.

Male prostitution: The exchange of sexual services by a male for money or other compensation. The male prostitute's partner may be a homosexual male. or a heterosexual woman.
