Rape

Sexual intercourse forcibly and against the will. Generally on females; somes times by women on boys. In addition, the law adds: intercourse with a person under the age of consent, even if with their actual consent.

Anal-rape fantasy: The image or fear of being raped through the anus, which is not uncommon in the dreams and fantasies of both men and women.

Date rape: The use of psychological and/or physical coercion to pressure or force an unwilling partner into engaging in sexual intimacies and/or intercourse in a relationship where the couple know each other or are dating. Alcohol and drug use are common factors in date rape. In studies of college men and women, 20 to 25 percentof the males have admitted to sexual aggression in a dating situation, and half to four-fifths of the college women report being victims of such agression.

Gang rape: Rape committed by a gang of men, who take turns violating the victim. The effect may be physical damage, serious psychological distrubance, or, in some cases, death. Gang rape of men is common in prisons. Also known as: gang bang

Molestation: Sexual advanced and assault against a child or mentally person who cannot give a legal consent.

Rapism: The psychological condition in which a person is dependent on the terrified resistance of a nonconsenting stranger in order to obtain erotic arousal and achieve orgasm.

Rapist: Any person who physically or psychologically forces another person to engage in sexual activities.

Sex-aggression-fusion rapist: A rapist who associates violence and sadism with sex. He usually has a history of antisocial and aggressive behavior and may be impotent in sexual encounters with a woman unless the woman fights back. The violence itself is needed for his sexual arousal. Although the sex-agression-fusion rapist is relatively rare, attacks by this type of person tend to be well publicized and result in more common forms of rape being overlooked or unreported.

Sexual-aim rapist: A rapist who is truly sexually motivated and uses only as much force as is necessary to achieve intercourse. He may have fantasies of his victims falling in love with him after he has demonstrated his sexual prowess.
