Virginia Johnson

Virginia E. Johnson, D.Sc.(Hon.), is world-renowned for her innovative contributions to sex therapy and sex research.

As Director of the Masters & Johnson Institute in St. Louis, she oversees the clinical, research, and educational operations at this multidisciplinary organizations, while continuing to maintain her own special interests in women's studies and the psychology of sexual behavior.

Co-author of nine books and hundreds of journal articles, Dr. Johnson has been the recipient of more than a dozen awards from professional organizations during her remarkable career.
