Wardell B. Pomeroy, Ph.D. Columbia University, joined Alfred C. Kinsey at the institute for Sex Research in 1943.
One of the Kinsey's chief collaborators on Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), he later became the Institute's director of field research and also served as co-author of its third and fourth studies, Pregnancy, Birth and Abortion (1958) and Sex Offenders: An Analysis of Types (1965).
At 1974, Dr. Pomeroy became the Dean of American Sexologists at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco.
